About Me

I am Eric Beragg and I like to build software. In 2011 I founded 99 solutions so I can provide the best possible value for customers. My journey began on the Commodore Amiga, starting programming at the age of 10. First writing ARexx scripts for Bulletin Board Systems (BBS), I later ventured into C programming writing plug-ins of all sorts and soon I was co-developing the System-X BBS. Starting my professional career I picked up on C++ and for many years now I enjoy programming C# and the .NET Framework. In 2011, I achieved an MCPD certification in .NET 4.0 Web Development.

When not coding, I love to play with synthesizers, listen to electronic music, read, run, and practice Zen meditation. Everything I do, I do with passion. There is never enough time to do everything; I try though.

My Philosophy

I take development seriously. But play and creativity are just as important to me. Play keeps me discovering new things, sparking new ideas. Creativity leads to usable and reliable products. It's about getting things done- without taking shortcuts. I Never blame technology for failure. Passion for what I do, sharing with others and having fun doing so is what motivates me.
